is a 2026 guard who plays with precision and poise in clutch situations. Avery had a big time 16 points and the game winning three pointer to move Birdville to the next round in a 50-49 win over their rivals, the Denton Broncos. He is a great floor general as he knows how to swing the ball around to open teammates and his hustle shows during chases for loose balls and transition opportunities. He has a smooth jumper even when contested and gets downhill with good speed.

has taken a major leap over the past year, and the results are loud—he’s stronger, more confident, and far more complete as a scorer. The fiery sharpshooter hasn’t just added range—he’s added depth to his game, using the entire floor to score efficiently at all three levels. What stands out is how much more physical he’s become; the added muscle lets him absorb contact and finish plays he couldn’t a year ago. He’s still lethal from beyond the arc, but now he’s a threat off the dribble and in traffic. St. Mary’s is getting a polished, battle-tested guard who’s ready to contribute.

showcased impressive playmaking skills, making great reads on offense. He effectively passed to teammates finding them open along the perimeter. Off defensive stops by his team, he was looking to majority of times push the ball up the court into the half-court. At times, he found himself wide open on the perimeter, capitalizing on these opportunities when open. However, he also demonstrated the ability to hit contested shots from the perimeter. Additionally, he showed his downhill driving ability when the left driving lane was open and frequently got fouled which led to free throws where he consistently shot accurately.
