Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Sheepo is an intriguing wing with good size, strength and skill. The 6-foot-4 senior does a good job using his physicality on drives to the rim and is able to finish with both hands at the hoop in a variety of ways. He’s also a decent outside shooter and can handle it a little bit against bigger forwards and wings. If he can improve his quickness and continue to get more athletic, I could imagine him getting some fairly high level D3 looks. Sheepo’s senior season at Lick-Wilmerding High School will likely determine his recruitment.

Austin Sheepo Austin Sheepo 6'4" | C/SF Lick Wilmerding Vars | 2026 State CA-N : A Versatile 6’7″ Forward
The athletic 6’8” forward out of Lick-Wilmerding High is a bit of a late bloomer. Making him one of the more underrated prospects in NorCal. With his motor and physical tools, Sheepo consistently outpaces other bigs, running the floor hard and turning steals into momentum-shifting dunks on the other end. While he currently plays in the post, his game shows flashes of wing potential at the next level. He can step out and hit the three, put the ball on the floor. His developing perimeter skill set, paired with his size and athleticism, makes him a tough cover for traditional bigs and a mismatch waiting to happen.
Earlier this summer with Bay City, Sheepo held his own against Elite 6, a run-and-gun squad full of guards. His defensive versatility stood out as he moved his feet well, used his length to close space, and blocked or altered several shots around the rim. He showed he can switch out, defend, and protect the rim without fouling.
Whether it’s rim-running, spacing the floor, or locking up on defense, Sheepo brings value in a lot of different ways.
