How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Im a defensive player who thrives in any role on the court. I’m a disruptor! quick hands good timing for blocks, energy that makes scoring against me really hard. I can guard any position locking down fast guards to standing my ground against centers. On offense, I adapt playing the point when needed, running the wing or battle in the paint, set screens or making the xtra pass to help my team.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a 16 year old baller with a mix of chill and fire & fun-loving, playful personality, cracks jokes in the locker room. I try to bring positive vibes. I love family and God. Trying to become a better leader. Basketball is more than a game it’s my passion, a way to push me for better. I play for more than wins I play for the people who support me for the ones who push me to be better every day
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I received the All District Player Award in Basketball. Teen Group in my church. And I’m a mentor and teen coach for Royal Athletic Club.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership, leading by example, motivating , or stepping up in tough moments. Teamwork, Understanding roles,basketball is all about working together toward a common goal. Resilience, facing tough opponents,coming back from losses, and other challenges builds mental toughness.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
As a Student Athlete there’s challenges. it means balancing two full-time commitments, and that’s not easy. One challenge for me is time management, practices, games and homework, can be hard and stressful it feels like it’s not enough time in the day, wanting to succeed academically while also competing on the court. And missing out.
What type of college are you looking for?
As a student-athlete with aspirations to become an oncologist, i want to find a college that balances strong athletics and great academics, especially in pre-med and biological sciences. School that support Student-Athletes, with academic support services for athletes, such as tutoring and flexible scheduling and school with great Student Culture.
