Heyer is ridiculously fun to watch. He was probably the leading scorer at Brandeis camp, but he didn’t do it with his size. The 5-foot-11 guard is insanely quick with the rock and stays so close to the ground when he handles it, so he’s quite difficult to stay in front of and keep out of the lane. Once he gets into the paint, he has a deep bag of crafty finishing moves and makes really nice spray outs to his teammates if the trees come to help. I don’t know what’s in the water in Staples, CT, but Heyer plays just like Connecticut College commit Sam Clachko Sam Clachko 5'11" | CG Staples High | 2026 State New E , who will be his teammate this year.
