A prospect who produced on the EYBL circuit with good positional size as a wing forward and a smooth shooting stroke committed to a Big 10 coach who spent his last few seasons in Texas seeing Brown up close, I’m not sure why Brown isn’t appearing on national rankings lists besides Prep Hoops right now. While he still needs to develop his body to handle the physicality of the Big 10, Brown’s shooting and experience on the EYBL circuit should have him prepared for college practices and understanding how to play within a system. If Brown has a big senior season with Lufkin, a top Texas high school program, I could see him getting added to other national rankings lists before it is all said and done.
