South Bend Adams 2029 Guard Ashton Northern Ashton Northern 6'0" | PG/SG South Bend Adams | 2029 IN caught my attention early on in the 5v5 portion of the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Explosive first step that at times made the game look easy on the offensive end with the way he was able to get downhill. Crafty finisher around the basket, but also takes what the defense gives him and is a talented playmaker for others.

Northern was a consistent floor spacer and ball mover for Team 2 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He fit in well alongside a very talented backcourt and found a way to excel in his roll. One of his most impressive plays from 5-on-5 action came when he crashed the offensive glass hard from the perimeter and finished a putback at the front of the rim amongst opposing size. That level of tenacity and motor is exactly what led to success for the South Bend Adams prospect throughout the event.
