About Archer

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Eyes up and seeing the court on both ends of the floor. On offense I am quick to drive to the basket or pull up for jumper. Able to score from all areas. I love taking a charge, blocking shots and getting rebounds.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach every game with the desire to win. My goal is to make the best play for my team on a play-by-play basis. I love to shoot but know making a pass is the smarter play at times. I am very vocal on the court and know communiction is important and often overlooked. I love to encourage my teammates if I am on the court or on the bench.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I won a UIL art show last year and participated in UIL speech competion.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has provide the opportunity for all the above. On the court I am a leader and our teamwork has lead us to be a close team on and off the court. I am currently a volunteer coach for a little dribblers team in my community.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play basketball in college and have the coaches help make me the best I can be on and off the court. My education is also important so I want to be challenged in the class room as well. I would want my degree to prepare me for the world as well.
