Anthony Wescott was one of the most efficient and effective shooters I saw play at the Twin Cities Takedown. He went off from beyond the arc in the game I watched, and his misses were very rare. In the game I watched of him, he hit five threes. All of these threes came off the catch and from deep range. He was able to knock down these long balls with his very brief release, soft touch, and high arc. Even with defenders eating up his landing space and contesting his shots, he was able to hit from outside unbothered. His shooting was extremely valuable to his team, and he created much space with his scoring gravity off the ball. He constantly punished defenders that helped off of him, and his threes were very timely and kept his team in the game on multiple occasions.
