Vindivich came out with great energy on both ends and made several plays early on that helped set the tone for the Tigers. He played with pace all over the floor, jumping passing lanes, attacking space with the ball and showing he can consistently knock down open shots in the midrange. He was also key in transition with his hustle to beat guys down the floor for easy buckets.

Vindivich is a guy who you can count on to play hard and aggressive on both ends. Saturday, he was also on point from long-range, taking advantage of space and knocking down at least three treys in their first game. He also had a number of strong takes to the rim, setting one up with a quick crossover then firing down the lane to convert an and-one while falling away from the rim. He has some big energy out there and can really energize his side at times.

Vindivich came out with great energy against rival Lincoln in their winner-to-state game last week. These teams know each other really well, this being the third matchup of the year, and the junior guard came out ready to set the tone and make all the little hustle plays that could propel them over the top. He was all over the ball defensively, getting a quick strip and then aggressively attacking gaps on the offensive end to find space for a hanging pullup jumper. And while he didn’t put up a ton of stats after an energetic first quarter, he still spurred a lot of action with drives and penetration and added to the team’s defensive intensity in what ended up being a one-point win for the Tigers.
