Amir Thompson-Hanson Amir Thompson-Hanson 6'3" | SF JP McCaskey | 2028 State PA put together a productive freshman campaign at JP McCaskey and is going to blossom as a sophomore under the direction of a new head coach. He had an excellent summer with the York Ballers and at Hoop Group Future All-American camp. Amir is a versatile forward with ability to guard multiple positions. His athleticism and energy on the defensive end make him a nightmare for whoever he is guarding. It’s also hard to rebound with Thompson-Hanson, as he boxes out hard and skies high to grab boards out of the air. As he continues to improve his offensive game, the resourceful forward is going to make waves in the Lancaster area.

Thompson-Hanson is a gadget man forward who plays with an immense deal versatility when he is on the floor. He is a good rebounder who has no issues finding a body and seeking out rebounds. He runs the floor in transition and is an effective outlet man. Amir takes high percentage shots and converts them at a high clip.
