About Amir

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is steady, creative and always looking to elevate the people around me. I’m not the one looking to make 40 points a game but looking to set up the perfect pass so my teammates can score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don’t allow others to I’m not loud or flashy - just calm, I like to read the floor like chess. I reset instantly and stay calm. Misses don’t discourage me. I move with purpose not wasted motion.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved with the organization called F.A.M Free All Minds

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership - my teachers have always told me how my peers listen and follow me. I’m built to collaborate, be strategic and always elevating the person I’m working with. Community - I have volunteered feeding 750 families at Victory In Christ church with Creek summer basketball league. I’ve assisted with the kids summer camp program at Kyle Sir Hines.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced being consistent with my workouts on a daily basis but have realized that if I want to be successful I have to put in the work that no one sees.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a place that offers culture and personality’s a campuses that has real stories, real community where I can feel I belong and it’s not forced. They offer internships and basketball energy.
