. He had a dominant Junior Year for the Buccaneers 16.3 Points Per Game, 12.6 Rebounds Per Game, and 4.7 Blocks Per Game. At 6’6″, Wilson is a matchup nightmare for lots of teams in 2A. He has good footwork when attacking the basket off the dribble or working in the post. He is strong and athletic, capable of working through contact to finish at the rim or protect the rim. Wilson works hard on the glass and likes to push the pace after halling in defensive rebounds. Amarion holds an offer from Central International.

Wilson is a big guy in Class 1A play down in the Lowcountry . Last season he averaged 16.3 ppg, 12.6 rebounds and 4.7 blocks. Amarion can play inside-out around the bucket. He’s very mobile for his size and rugged at times. He will inside the paint for his high school team but tends at times to roam freely outside. Amarion feels quite comfortable shooting the perimeter jumper when it presents itself. The Buccaneers could be a player this season in the Lower State after finishing (18-5) a season ago.

Wilson is a physical specimen already for his young age down in the paint. Amarion played his freshman season at Beaufort Academy before making the move over to Bridges Prep. Amarion rebounds the ball on both ends of the floor and should be a double-double guy every game this season for the Buccaneers. He works to overpower defenders at times and can step-out to the short corner for a good look. Amarion is a really good passer from the high post.

Wilson is a nice addition for the Buccaneers down in the post. Amarion can play face-up to the basket some and feels comfortable knocking down a short corner jumper from time to time. Wilson played good minutes last season as a freshman at nearby Beaufort Academy in the SCISA ranks.

Wilson is an absolute man-child at times in the paint. Amarion ran both with TMP ‘ last=”] 16U and H2 Lowco this spring and summer on the Grassroots Circuit. Wilson a barrel-chested post player really carves out space down low. Amarion played last season at Beaufort Academy and now attends Bridges Prep.
Wilson can step-out to the elbow and knockdown the open jumper. It’s going to be really interesting to see his progression moving forward down the road.
