Winters continues to prove himself as one of the most well rounded guards in North Carolina’s 2029 class and he had a super strong month of July with Top Shot 15u on the UAA Circuit. Winters was in double figures in 2/3rds of his games in July while not shooting below 40% in a single one of those games. His ability to score the basketball from multiple levels, embrace his matchups on the defensive end of the floor make him a truly valuable piece to everything this team has going on. The shot-making, toughness, and motor will guide him in the right direction as his game continues to trend in the right direction. Look out for Winters as a potential riser in the next 2028 update.

Winters is a quality name to monitor in this 2029 class and calling him a glue guy might not be fair but for being such a talented player he is very willing to do a lot of the dirty work to help a team. Winters brings undeniable effort to this Top Shot UAA 15u team and had a strong session averaging 11.8 Points, 5.8 Rebounds, and 3.8 Assists per game while shooting 45.2 EFG%. He provided consistent and efficient production for this team. He’s an elite rebounder for a guard and can be a primary scorer without needing to take a ton of shots or have the ball in his hands. He makes the right play in both transition or the half court and should be a well rounded combo guard to monitor closely for this group. I fully expect him to be amongst the ranked when the 2029 rankings make their debut here in the next couple of weeks.
