He will head to a new look Ironwood where he will be a focal point for the eagles. Amare is a pass first point guard that can score when needed. He constantly looks to get others involved and will set the table for cutters and shooters. He likes to score in the midrange area and will rise up for a quick jumper. He will work well in the pick and role and will snake dribble to his spot in the midrange.

Amare is a young and skilled Point Guard that has a balanced play style. He is a high IQ player that can run the offense and get the scorers on his team going. He looks for mismatches and will exploit them by giving space to teammates. Amare is also a very capable scorer getting it done from the midrange and in the paint. He has nice rise to his pull up jumper and creates great space with his handle and footwork. He can finish strong at the rim with his big frame and will take advantage of smaller defenders.
