There was no answer for Stone during his opening game of the day. The biggest player on the floor, he controlled the glass and finished effectively around the basket. Stone displayed good touch with either hand and consistently pursued rebounds on both ends. His size, physicality and production should give him an opportunity to help a college program next season.

While Abington is a guard-oriented team, Stone has shown steady improvement in the frontcourt to warrant being on the recruiting radar moving forward. He contributed seven points to the win on Tuesday night, using a blend of length, fluidity, and compact skill to make an efficient complementary impact. Stone was effective as a cleanup guy inside with quick jumps around the rim to finish despite a lack of strength. He showed a new wrinkle as well while stepping out to convert a smooth catch-and-shoot 3 to go along with an additional pair of clean misses. Stone should be on small-college radars across the region by this time next year, and could be an interesting prep option down the line with the raw tools to earn a scholarship if he’s able to accelerate his physical and skill development.
