How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play with a strong defensive mindset, always prioritizing stops and making it tough for opponents. On offense, I’m a strong finisher and thrive on creating opportunities—not just for myself, but for my teammates as well. I bring intensity, playmaking, and a team-first mentality to the game.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a dedicated and team-oriented player who values leadership, hard work, and growth both on and off the court. I bring intensity and competitiveness while also supporting my teammates and creating opportunities for others. Beyond basketball, I am driven by my faith and a desire to help and uplift those around me.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am actively involved in leadership and service both in and out of school. I am a member of Beta Club, a student ambassador, and part of the National Honor Spanish Society. I have been invited to be apart of a leadership conference and I currently participate in Impact Leadership. Additionally, I lead students at my church, where I focus on mentorship and community-building.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and service skills through sports, community involvement, and mentoring. My experiences have taught me effective communication, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility, all of which drive my commitment to making a positive impact.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have faced challenges with family separation and instability, which led to struggles with anger, trust, and self-worth. Over time, with the support of a mentor, I found faith in Christ and gave my life to Him on November 20, 2023. Since then, I have been growing spiritually, building healthy relationships, and striving to make a positive impact on those around me.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a smaller to mid-sized college that offers a supportive community, values academic and spiritual growth, and provides opportunities for leadership and personal development. I also want a college where I can continue to grow as a basketball player, contribute to a team, and balance my athletic and academic goals.
