9/26/26: Alhassane hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to conclude the third quarter. His teammates and coaches lost their marbles cheering. Apparently, this was akin to Roy Hibbert’s unlikely three-pointer in the Big East Tournament years ago. Camara operates in the lane often and primarily helps as a post defender/rebounder. The big man did get some dump-offs. Good teammate. Silent on the court. Good effort. No complaints.

Camara was a productive rebounder on either end of the floor, effectively converting putbacks regardless of contact. As well as an impactful roller out of ball screens, his positional size added a much different look for Colorado Magic at this event. Camara showed flashes as a spot-up shooter along the mid-range, boasting a high release point of those attempts.

Camara got a brief cameo with Denver East, prior to committing to Accelerated Prep recently. The 6’8+ forward is quite possibly the most physically imposing frontcourt prospect in this 2027 class, bringing all the tools to be an elite interior defender.

Camara will be an intriguing name to follow this season with Denver East, given his wide reach and physical tools on the defensive end. Dependable securing box outs and the subsequent rebound, he was a crucial component in East’s interior defense.
