Per went absolutely nuclear for a stretch on Sunday, knocking down four threes in the midst of a personal 16-2 scoring run. For one of the best shooters in the program regardless of class, it was just the latest showing in what has been an impressive summer. At 6-foot-3 with the ability to change a game quickly from behind the arc, colleges would be wise to get eyes on the young gunner sooner rather than later.

Largely an unknown commodity after a limited varsity role as a freshman and an injury that prevented him from playing in the June scholastic periods, Per was sure to announce himself and looked the part of a future focal point for the Fighting Owls. He caught the eye with his energy, versatility, and athleticism while consistently filling in gaps from the wing whether in the halfcourt or transition. Per was able to create for himself while getting all the way to the rim off the bounce or capitalize on opportunities as a cutter and floor-spacer. The son of a coach, it should only be a matter of time before he’s on collegiate radars if his play on Friday was any indication.
