Nonetheless, August managed to finish with over 20 points in the game while keeping his team within shouting distance for most of the first half. Buried three-pointers from all around the perimeter, shooting over the top of closeouts. August was not afraid to attack the trio of bigs that were waiting underneath the rim for him. Alex drove strong and created opportunities for himself at the foul line. A promising showing from August who tried to lead his team to the upset but ultimately fell short.
