How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a traditional center that has a decent mid range shot. I post up and drive quickly very often and physically. I will attempt to get to a comfortable spot and take either a shot, or finish. I am athletic and flexible, I mainly play center but I can play any other position except for point guard. I use my athleticism to my advantage but that is also my only achilles heel, I jump too much.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a leader on the court who will always try to comfort a teammate and I will run back to defense after a miss. I will always try to get teammates involved and get their confidence up. I also will never spend time thinking about the last possession, but the next. I also know when to give my body a break but I have proven many times I recover quickly from injury and I never let that hold me back
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have won 3 small tournaments I my county but I have never had a chance to play at a showcase, big gamp, or anything of the sort. I have not won any big awards other than a respect certificate at my school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I will always try to help a teammate and I believe I have a good eye for reading someone's emotions and my own; I will always try to neutralize it, if not, take a break. I have great defense. I will always keep a hand up and give players as little space as possible.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
None so far.
What type of college are you looking for?
Good colleges is both academics and a proven record in sports(basketball). I want to go to a school that coaches team play instead of having 1 star and many solid players. I want to go to a college that has shown consistent improvement in players that no one heard about until later in their career.
