He caught the attention of a Prep Hoops Georgia Scout in a showcase, was selected to the Region 1-5A All-Region Team, and won the Most Valuable Player Award at the Upstate All-Star Senior Game. Williams recently received an offer from Detroit Christian College, but he might still see a late surge in his recruitment. AJ makes up for his lack of size by making the right play offensively and being bought in on the defensive end.
