About Aiden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as fast-paced, smart, and unselfish. As a point guard, I focus on controlling the tempo, creating plays, and getting my teammates involved while also looking to score when the opportunity is there. I take pride in being a floor general who can lead both on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive, coachable, and focused. I hate losing more than I love winning, so I’m always working to get better. I stay calm under pressure and try to bring positive energy to my team, whether it’s during a tough game or off-season workouts.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’ve been involved in DECA, the business club at school, where I’ve learned about leadership and presenting ideas. In sports, I was named MAC Blue Honorable Mention for Varsity Basketball as a sophomore. I also play AAU Basketball, Travel Baseball, and Baseball at my high school. Over the years, my teams have won multiple championships and had some big wins in both basketball and baseball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through all the sports and team experiences, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to communicate better, hold myself and others accountable, and stay focused on the bigger goal. I also understand the value of putting in the work even when no one’s watching.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve been very blessed in life, but one big challenge this past year was when my high school basketball coach unexpectedly resigned after the season. It was tough for our team, but I’ve been working hard in the off-season to step up, be a good teammate, and help keep everyone united and ready to work. I want to help make sure we stay locked in and don’t lose our momentum.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with strong academics and a competitive basketball program. I want a place with great team culture, supportive coaches, and opportunities to study business and grow as a leader on and off the court. Whether it’s a smaller school or a bigger university, I’m open—as long as it’s the right fit for me both athletically and academically.
