How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a point guard, I focus on being a floor general who facilitates the offense and keeps the tempo in our favor. I’m unselfish with the ball, always looking to set up teammates in the best positions to succeed, whether that’s through quick passes, pick-and-rolls, or creating open shots. My court vision is one of my strongest assets.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe myself as having a relaxed demeanor, calm, and easy-going personality. I work hard in both the classroom and on the court, striving to do my best. I am open to learning and consider myself very coachable. I am a good team player and keep a level head and stay composed on the court and in tough situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs I have been involved with are FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Beta, and PEP Club. I am actively involved in my local youth church group. In my 8th grade year (the only school year that they offer this award), I was chosen Best All Around by my teachers and faculty.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I loved being involved with my local church community and youth group, leading and serving in community projects. I have been actively involved in sports from a young age and in doing so has helped to develop discipline not only on a ball court, baseball field, or golf course, but in classroom and work as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In regard to sports, there are always challenges I believe. You have to want to play and work as a team. It's the only way you are going to win. I have faced this more than once, where only a couple want to play together. I have never given up, even on the days I felt less than and didn't play my best. I give it my all and continued to work my best for the sake of my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that values me not just as a player but as a person too. I am competitive and I want to win, but feeling though I am part of a team and doing something great is the real win.
