About me
My name is Aidan Anderson and I play high school basketball for Okawville Jr. Sr. High School in Okawville, IL. I averaged 16.3 ppg, 12.3 rpg, 2.68 apg, and 3.21 bpg. This is also my 3rd season playing for Illinois Bears 25 under Justin Barrington. I was selected to the Chi-Town Tip Off: 17U First Team by Prep Hoops.
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I am a 6'9" PF/C. I have been playing Varsity since my freshman year and have started since my sophomore year. I made the Cahokia All Conference Team, Illinois Division my sophomore and junior year. My strengths are that I am a leader on and off the court and take charge and talk while on the court. Rebounding is my super strength and I am not afraid to get on the floor and go after the ball.
What type of school are you looking for?
I'm looking for a school that can challenge me both athletically and academically. I am open to all levels of college basketball. Being a disciplined student athlete is my number 1 priority as you can see by my GPA and acknowledgements. I am hoping for a scholarship either athletic or academic. I am excited to hopefully become a contributor and asset to a great college program.
What are your interests outside of Basketball?
Outside of basketball, you can find me on the mound pitching or in the field at 1st base for my high school. When not playing sports, I work for a lawn service with many of my teammates. I also work and volunteer at the American Legion Post 233 frying fish and grilling or helping in any way I can. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends playing golf, cards, and fishing.
Closing Statement
I appreciate you taking the time to get to know about me. Coaches, please feel free to text or call me at any time. Thanks again for your time!
