About Adrian
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as a team battery, as I feel that I can take on the challenge of guarding any position whether its interior or on the perimeter. I feel that I am able to pass and get my teammates open at any location on the court as well as being able to spread the floor by being able to catch and shoot from any location on the court.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I would describe my mentality as someone who is willing to win at any cost as I feel that I can adapt to play with any teammate or team whether I am used as a facilitator, defensive, or scorer I will do what is best or needed for the team.
I would describe my personality as someone who is disciplined off and, on the court, as well as being able to show leadership during practices and games.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have been involved in a class called AVID which helps with college readiness as well as community service.
I am currently doing an internship through USA Boxing Wisconsin.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I not only find myself a leader or a team player on the court, but in the classroom. The way I show leadership is by breaking down the huddle, gathering the team, and by assisting my classmates. I also lead by example by going first in a drill, owning up to my mistakes, and by hyping the team on the court, on the bench and in the locker room.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
A challenge I have faced is my potential for the game is not being seen or heard. For example, I have had coaches and teammates at camps and leagues outside of my high school team(s) communicate that I have potential to play this game at a high level, but when high school season begins, I feel my potential diminish.
What type of college are you looking for?
The colleges that I am not only looking to attend at an academic standpoint but also at a basketball career, are mainly in Wisconsin with the hopes of working in the field of biology/animal science and have a home like feeling to them.
