Gray received major praise for his play at the Toledo Top 64 as the Perrysburg lead guard is one of the most skilled players in northwest Ohio. Perrysburg gets a little forgotten about as one of only two Division I schools in the northwest region but I think they have the experience and talent to make a run in the northeast region this march. Gray isn’t the quickest guard you’ll come across but he knows how to create space off the dribble with or without a ball screen and is really tough to stop when he gets a clean look at the rim. Expect to see Perrysburg once again rack up the wins this winter as they’ve been as consistent as any program in the Toledo area, winning 17-20 games each season since 2021-22.

A combo guard with a pure stroke from deep. I like his mindset to fire when he’s open! Gray catches the ball in a triple threat and commands the respect from his defender. Quality defender himself who locks in and competes on that end on the ball and in gaps. I liked his leadership and ability to stay engaged and direct traffic on both ends. Adam Gray Adam Gray 6'1" | CG Perrysburg | 2027 State OH has received multiple college offers and is looking ready for a big senior year at Perrysburg!

Gray got comfortable against the defensive pressure and athleticism of a PRO16 team and got going as a creator as Rice Basketball Academy hung around for about three quarters with Colorado Collective. Gray was getting by his defender with crafty dribble moves and used the pump fake as a way to create leverage against the defense multiple times. In the second half Gray hit back-to-back 3-pointers as Rice Basketball Academy got into a rhythm offensively with the ball mostly sticking to Gray’s hands. A top guard from the Toledo area, Gray should be on small college radars.

Gray is a guard who simply knows how to play. Last year he was one of the most impressive guards I saw in Northwest Ohio, and his skillset is as complete as they come. He can score from all three levels and has the ability to create his own looks against any defender. What sets him apart is how smooth and confident he is offensively — he just finds ways to get it done. Gray is a name that will continue to rise.

One of the few 2027 prospects with a small college offer, Gray was offered by Lourdes in June as their staff has done an excellent job keeping some of the top Toledo talent. Gray is one of the better guards in northwest Ohio from his class and can be seen at the Toledo Top 64 in the Fall. Gray impressed this summer with both Perrysburg and Rice Basketball Academy 16 U. I like how in control Gray is on the ball, able to direct the offense while also being able to take over a game as a scorer when needed.

Perrysburg has a talented 2027 class and Gray was their standout performer on Saturday, impressing myself in front of the Lourdes staff that just gave him his first offer. Gray did a nice job playing off DHO’s and balancing scoring for himself and setting the table for his teammates. Gray had a couple nice skip passes to shooters and felt comfortable when the defense keyed in on him after he started scoring the basketball efficiently. One of the better guards in northwest Ohio’s 2027 class, Gray is a name you’ll be hearing more about over the next two seasons.
