About Aayan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A skilled 6'5" shot creator with elite shooting ability, high basketball IQ, and solid ball handling. I can score at all three levels, effectively drive to the rim, and am developing a strong mid-range game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am locked in and competitive, always striving to improve. I have a high basketball IQ and a relentless work ethic, focusing on perfecting my shot, expanding my game, and getting stronger. I am disciplined, confident, and willing to put in the extra work to dominate on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play AAU on the Under Armour Rise circuit with Bryce Radford Elite and have been recognized for earning a 4.5 GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through playing UA Rise with Bryce Radford and varsity with Millbrook High School. Competing at a high level has helped me improve my communication, work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure. I also take pride in my discipline and dedication, both on the court and in the classroom, where I’ve been recognized for earning a 4.5 GPA.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced some significant challenges, especially when I fractured my wrist. It was a tough setback, but it pushed me to stay mentally strong and find new ways to work on my game while recovering. During that time, I wasn’t as skilled as I wanted to be, but it motivated me to put in the work and improve my skills every day. Now, I’m seeing the results of that determination and effort.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Division 1 college that offers strong competition and a program where I can continue to develop both as a player and as a student. I want a school with a great basketball program, where I can push myself to reach my full potential and compete at the highest level.
