McBride had an answer for everyone Bosco threw at him tonight as he scored in a variety of different ways to show off all the different ways he’s going to contribute for LMU next season. Aaron also showed off his leaping ability on an unforgettable dunk to win the game for Centennial and take them to the state championships.

McBride was a strong pick n’ pop threat in this one as he made a three, showed a good pump fake and drove to the basket, and swung the ball to an open teammate — strong examples of his potential to be a contributing member of an offense at the next level quickly.

McBride was the most consistent big man of the tournament.  His motor and energy is relentless.  Every single time a shot goes up, you can expect McBride to box out, hit the boards, and go for every loose ball.  Coaches have got to love his fundamentals and IQ.  McBride runs the floor well and does a great job of using his body and size to finish in the paint and at the rim.  His footwork and IQ was on display as several times he backed his man to the paint and was patient with head fakes to get easy scoop shots around the rim.  An understated part of his game is his ability to make post entry passes.  Playing next to heralded big man Devin Williams Devin Williams 6'10" | PF Corona Centennial | 2023 State #86 Nation CA-S , McBride does a good job making passes from both outside and on top the key to feed Williams for easy bucks.  McBride is currently committed to Loyola Marymount.
