Expert Analysis
Jay Frye | Prep Hoops Scout
Aaron Bennett Aaron Bennett 6'9" | C Allen | 2028 TX gives Allen a true interior target with the length to affect possessions around the basket. He is most useful when playing vertically — screening, occupying the dunker spot, presenting a target on rim runs, and forcing drivers to account for his presence defensively. Bennett does not need a heavy post diet to influence spacing because his size can pull a low defender toward the rim and open kick-out opportunities. Development hinges on screening angles, second-jump activity, and defending in space when opponents involve him in high ball screens. Bennett’s size and vertical role give him a straightforward pathway toward becoming a useful college frontcourt piece.
