It has been an up-and-down season for Greenwood Christian after spending much of last year in the Class 1A Top 10 and advancing to the Semi-State. However, this senior point guard has certainly held his own and had a great season. On Saturday night, in a 63-45 win over Speedway, Reed became Greenwood Christian’s all-time assist leader. He is committed to play at Indiana Wesleyan.

After a strong junior season for a Top 10 team in Class 1A, Reed will be relied on to take on a go-to role this season. The 6’0″ point guard is a talented playmaker and has played his way into a handful of college opportunities over the last few weeks. We are excited to continue to see him play more this coming season, but it was time to go ahead and get him in our Top 200 at #191 overall.

Reed is a 6’0″ guard out of Greenwood Christian Academy that played with such a high motor on both ends of the floor at The Expo. He was quick in transition and was also extremely scrappy on the defensive end of the floor. The senior guard showed that he could play both on and off the ball as a productive shot-maker and facilitator. Often times on Sunday evening it was his tough defense that led to his offense. Reed recently received his first offer from Culver-Stockton.

Reed is a high IQ point guard that helped to facilitate offense during the first two games before having to leave with a busted eye after diving into an opponent’s knee for a loose ball. The 6’0″ floor general is an excellent passer and is always willing to make the right play for his team. He was very active as an on-ball defender as well.
