Van has been a national scout and basketball event coordinator who has been embedded in the grassroots and event scene in the Northeast and nationally for over 20 years’ worth of basketball experience to the scouting service world. Senior editor for Baseline Hoop Sports Report is a national scouting service that has clients in the NCAA and NBA. Unlike most scouts, there are no boundaries for Van’s coverage you can find him in the gym anywhere in the country on any given weekend. I am originally from Washington DC, I began my career writing for Middle Atlantic Sports News before founding Baseline Hoop Sports Report, a national scouting service. He remains a valuable information source both locally in the DMV area and on a nationally level. I have enjoyed being the commissioner of the Jabbo Kenner League for the last 15 years. It has been a joy to help and provide the future basketball prospects with a chance to reach their goals with me providing events, writing and evaluating players at every level helping them achieve their goals on and off the floor.
