Trey joined Prep Hoops as a national scout in October of 2025. After graduating from Penn State with a degree in communications, he spent 2023-25 as a graduate assistant coach for the men's basketball team at Clarion University. In addition to his time as a skill development trainer, Erdman is a coaching mainstay at camps with The Hoop Group, USA Basketball, and FlexWork Sports. During the winter, his scouting coverage is primarily of Pennsylvania with focus on the Central Region.
