Devin Ugland | Prep Hoops Scout
Devin has been a staple on the west coast basketball scene over the last 15 years. He graduated from Long Beach State with a degree in Journalism and began his career as a sportswriter for the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Times and USA Today. Devin launched his scouting service, Hoops By Ugland, in 2015 and it quickly became one of the most respected and reliable sources for player evaluations among college coaches across the country. Devin ventured into the coaching side in 2020 when he joined the staff at Fullerton College as an assistant coach, video coordinator and recruiting coordinator. In his four seasons on the bench, Devin has helped Fullerton to a 111-13 overall record and a 60-5 conference record, including four straight conference championships. The Hornets won the 2023 state championship with a 32-1 record, including a 25-game win streak to close the season and have earned the No. 1 overall playoff seed in each of the last four seasons. Devin has helped eight players receive Division 1 scholarships out of Fullerton and assisted in getting 20 players 4-year scholarships.
