Daniel Siehndel | Prep Hoops Scout
Daniel Siehndel joined Prep Hoops in the summer of 2025, bringing more than a decade of experience in the athletic world across multiple roles. A former Division I football player, he competed at both the University of Northern Colorado and Southeast Missouri State University. Following his playing career, Daniel transitioned into coaching, serving as both an assistant football coach and a strength and conditioning coach at Emporia State University. While his foundation is in football, he has long held a strong passion for basketball. In 2018, Daniel moved to the Kansas City metro area and launched his own independent AAU program, along with a basketball training business. His involvement in grassroots basketball continued to grow as he built numerous connections along the way. He now also advises some of the larger exposure events in the Midwest, while continuing to support athletes through the recruiting and transfer processes. With a diverse background in coaching, player development, and program building, Daniel brings his expertise in recruiting, film analysis, player evaluation, and writing to the Prep Hoops team.
