Daniel Siehndel | Prep Hoops Scout
Daniel Siehndel joined Prep Hoops in the summer of 2025, bringing more than a decade of experience in the athletic world across multiple roles. A former Division I football player, he competed at both the University of Northern Colorado and Southeast Missouri State University. Following his playing career, Daniel transitioned into coaching, serving as both an assistant football coach and a strength and conditioning coach at Emporia State University. While his foundation is in football, Daniel has long held a strong passion for basketball. In 2018, he moved to the Kansas City metro area and launched his own independent AAU program, alongside a basketball training business. His involvement in grassroots basketball continued to grow, and in 2023, he co-founded One of Us, a Midwest-based, Adidas-sponsored AAU program, where he currently serves as Co-Director. With a diverse background in coaching, player development, and program building, Daniel now brings his expertise in recruiting, film analysis, player evaluation, and writing to the Prep Hoops team.
