With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2023 Small Forwards in Caleb Washington Caleb Washington 6'5" | PF Floyd Central | 2023 State IN , Jake Davis Jake Davis 6'6" | SF Cathedral | 2023 State IN , and Jalen Hooks Jalen Hooks 6'6" | SF Warren Central | 2023 State #282 Nation IN .

– 6’4 SF 2023 – Floyd Central (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Washington is a tall wing with handles, toughness, and some shooting ability. Was very poised and looked like a senior on the floor this past season. Can really do a lot around the post area like rebound and give his team opportunities for second chance points. He looks as though he is confident in his scoring. Also has a pretty good jumper but just needs to work on the consistency, which should come. Washington is a stud of a player. Going to be a huge part of Floyd Central moving forward.

– 6’5 SF 2023 – Cathedral (IN)
Stats: 6.0 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.3 apg
Thoughts: Davis is a tall wing that can impact the game already at his age. Sticks more on the perimeter right now but has the body to drive to the lane if he chooses. He has a good amount of range and is always ready to shoot the ball. Not afraid to get aggressive and go in for rebounds as well. Also is pretty underrated athletic wise. His excellent court vision helps him with his scoring. To add to that, his scoring should increase every year. Davis is the type of prospect that should get better every season.
Jalen Hooks

– 6’6 SF 2023 – Franklin Central (IN)
Stats: 9.3 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.3 bpg
Thoughts: Hooks is a tall wing with a great frame and plenty of athleticism. He is an advanced scorer and can do a lot more things than his other classmates. His size makes him get to the rim and dunk easily. Has a smooth jump shot and can play multiple positions. Plays within himself while still being pretty aggressive. His size and athleticism allow him to cause fits on defense. High-level athlete with a frame and skill set for most high-end programs. Going to be scary to see how good he will be by his junior year.
