Dominic Aguilar Dominic Aguilar 6'2" | SG Fergus Falls | 2021 State MN of Fergus Falls (PG, 6’2). Aguilar is a top 50 level player in his senior class coming off of a 13.6 point, 5.9 assist, 3.6 board, and two steals per game season shooting 39 percent from the arc. Aguilar will be the key piece running the Comets show.
Dylan Gichaba Dylan Gichaba 6'5" | SF Champlin Park | 2021 State MN of Champlin Park (SF, 6’5). Gichaba is an unusual prospect combination in that he has very rare potential and agility combined with one of the best great point averages/test scores of the 2021 class. He’s made some special defensive plays this year and some explosive highlights going with a developing game. A top prospect to watch on this team. Top 30 level prospect in this class.
Jack Iverson Jack Iverson 6'6" | PF Big Lake | 2021 State MN of Big Lake (PF. 6’6). Another high academic Comets 2021 standout, Jack is one of the better high post prospects in this class. Between his face-up jumper, his passing in the high post, and his low post drop Jack is very good working all corners of the paint. Also an agile defender at the four spot. Top 50 level prospect in the class.
Logan Purcell Logan Purcell 6'7" | C Annandale | 2021 State MN of Annandale (PF, 6’7). The 250 pound future Minnesota Gopher offensive lineman is also the most productive low post player for the Comets coming into the season. Purcell is a top 30 level basketball prospect in this state as well averaging 14 points and 8/9 boards a game.
Colton Roderick Colton Roderick 6'5" | SF Alexandria | 2021 State MN of Alexandria (SF 6’5). Yet another top 30 prospect for the Comets, Colton scored 19 a game for Alexandria over the winter. Roderick is one of the best shooters in the junior class and is likely to be one of the most reliant two way consistent players for this team. Colton is more physical as a player than people know fighting to spots, working to boards, physically bumping to contact before finishing around the rim, and fighting to spots on defense.
Nolan Rueter Nolan Rueter 6'2" | SG Albany | 2021 State MN of Albany (SG 6’2). Albany will give the Comets one of the better combo guards in the state of Minnesota in Nolan Rueter Nolan Rueter 6'2" | SG Albany | 2021 State MN . Nolan has some of the best separation handles in the state of Minnesota allowing him to get to his show whenever he needs to. And with the Comets Nolan will have more space to work, or he can handle for the team showing his distribution.
Sam Votava Sam Votava 6'1" | PG East Grand Forks | 2021 State MN of East Grand Forks (PG, 6’1). Sam will often be the heart of this team like he is for every team he’s played for. This is the talent that can make a big impact without taking many shots, and a talent that always finds a way to make a big contribution. Scored 13 a game this year and has set local assist records.
Sam Wanzek Sam Wanzek 6'4" | SF Bloomington Jefferson | 2021 State MN of Bloomington Jefferson (SF, 6’4). The best way to describe Sam is a well educated, consistent, scrappy player that coaches love put on the floor. A steady player for Jefferson, he was at times the best player on the floor for his Fury team last year, and he’s a player that we surely ranked too low in the recent rankings.
