1. Jaden Hardy Jaden Hardy 6'4" | CG Coronado | 2021 State #4 Nation NV 6’5 PG Coronado 2021 (#1PHN 2021) – Hardy had a 62 point game this year and bowed out of the state tournament with a 38 point performance. Best off the dribble shooter in the nation IMO. Hardy can blow by you and finish at the rim, or create space and raise up for 3. He has a complete offensive package and is an easy choice for #1.
2. Sebastian Mack Sebastian Mack 6'4" | CG Coronado | 2023 State #58 Nation NV 6’1 SG Durango 2023 (#1PHN 2023) (featured image) – The reason we call it a signature skill, is because you can always hang your hat on it. Even when Mack is 40 years old, I expect him to be lighting up men’s leagues with his lethal stroke. The scary part about him is that he only has one year of varsity experience under his belt. Improving his off the bounce game over time is only going to make him an even more electrifying scorer.
3. Tavionte Jackson Tavionte Jackson 6'1" | PG Las Vegas | 2022 NV 6’1 PG Las Vegas 2022 (#6PHN 2022) – This may come as a surprise to some but Jackson was one of the most consistent scorers in the state. He finished with 7 points in his first game against Palo After that, Jackson scored double digits in the remaining 27 games of the season. He’s a smooth player that can space the floor off the ball, or create for himself off the bounce.
4. Joshua Jefferson Joshua Jefferson 6'8" | PF Liberty | 2022 State #158 Nation NV 6’7 PF Liberty 2022 (#3PHN 2022) – This was a tough one, but after thinking about it Jefferson makes this list for 3 main reasons. 1. He is unguardable 1 on 1 in the post. 2. He has the ability to step out and knock down 3’s in catch and shoot situations. 3. He played with one of the best pure scorers in the nation last season, and still managed to make an impact.
5. Ethan Speaker Ethan Speaker 6'6" | SF Boulder City | 2021 State NV 6’6 SF Boulder CIty 2021 (#7PHN 2021) – Ok, technically BC isn’t in Las Vegas, sue me. Speaker’s offensive production was to good to ignore. Anytime I find a guy capable of throwing up 25 a night anywhere near the vicinity of Vegas, he’s going on the list. Speaker would actually be higher if he was a more consistent free throw shooter. As it is he still produced 8 30 point games last season.
