With the season approaching the half way mark for many teams, we take a look at some of the top talent in the 2020 class that have yet to commit. In this piece we will focus mainly on forwards who have had big seasons so far and schools should keep an eye out for them. All these players are capable of playing at the next level.

Owen Koonce - Centaurus High School is off to a 12-4 start to the season, largely due to the play of Koonce. So far during his senior season, he is averaging: 17.1 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 1.7 APG, 2.1 SPG, he is a four year varsity player who has been a major contributor for Centaurus ever since is sophomore season. He has good size, listed at 6'5 and does most of his scoring from inside the three-point arc, he is shooting 57% from two-point range going (96/169) so far on the year. He will keep the defense honest and attempt from distance every now and than, shooting 31% (9/29) currently. He has good handles for his size and is able to take defenders off the dribble and finish at the rim with contact. He rewards himself at the line, shooting 80% so far. Koonce also has a nice mid-range game, being able to create his shot off the dribble and has a good court sense, moving without the ball and attacking the offensive glass. He is a strong presence in the post and has a verity of different moves, and is able to rise up and finish above the rim. Someone is going to be lucky to land him at the next level.

Reece Johnson - Johnson has helped a senior lead group for Resurrection Christian to a 13-0 start to begin the year. He is averaging: 18.0 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 3.5 APG, 2.1 SPG, scoring double-figures in all the games so far. He is able to score from all three levels of the court, shooting 51% from three-point range going (24/47) so far, as well as 63% from two-point range and 75% from the charity strip. He has averaged over 17 points per game ever since he was a sophomore. Johnson gets it done in every way possible on the court, from his defense, to rebounding ability, and court vision making the right decision often. He has a great stroke from distance and is able to finish above the rim when attacking the basket. He does a nice job of playing the passing lane, creating easy transition buckets for him. CSU-Pueblo has offered him already with more to come for sure by the end of the year with the way he has performed. If you have not seen this team play, I suggest you do they are fun to watch.

Jalen Page - Page has been a focal point for Fairview for several years now, playing big minutes ever since he was a sophomore for them. In his senior season so far, he is currently averaging: 12.1 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.4 APG, 2.1 SPG, 1.9 BPG doing a little bit of everything for the Knights who are off to a 14-3 start on the year with some big time wins already. Listed at 6'5, Page does a lot of his scoring from inside the paint and mid-range, shooting 57% from two-point range and 78% from the foul-line. He has worked on expanding his jump-shot which has shown, he has a nice mid-range jumper and is shooting 38% from distance, making the defense guard him from all three levels. He also makes his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball, he plays very active and does a nice job of protecting the rim. He had 11 blocks a couple weeks ago in a win over Pueblo East, he also had a season high 24 points, nine rebounds and seven steals in that game. Page is a player that lets the game come to him and doesn't force a lot, he has a great sense for the game and will be a huge part for Fairview as the push into February and March.

Ryker Cisarik - Cisarik is averaging a team high 16.5 PPG so far on the year for Highlands Ranch, he is also leading the team in rebounds at 8.2 RPG currently. He has great size at 6'9, and is athletic for how tall he is. He is able to score from all three levels, making bigs guard him out on the perimeter often. He is shooting 38% from distance and 55% from two-point range so far. He has played his best ball as of late, since winter break ended he has scored sixteen or more points in the last five games, including 25 points to help them get a big win over Mountain Vista. In those last five games he has recorded a double-double in four of them, and being a rebound shy in the fifth. He does a great job of protecting the paint for them as well, he is long and often makes the opposing team take difficult, contested shots. Someone is going to be very lucky to land him here next year, Nebraska Wesleyan University has currently offered him so far.

Nahsyah Bolar - Northfield is off to an impressive 13-3 start on the season, with four seniors leading the way for them. One of them being Bolar, who is 6'7 and is currently averaging a double-double for them on the year. He is averaging: 18.3 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 2.3 SPG doing all of his damage from inside the three-point arc. Bolar is shooting 61% from two-point range, going (122/200) so far on the year. He has made a big jump since his junior season and it has been fun to watch him grow into a monster in the paint. He does a nice job of following each shot and getting to the front of the rim for a easy basket, he also does a nice job of playing the passing lanes which leads to fast break opportunities for him. He does a great job of finishing through contact with his strong frame. For his size he has decent handles as well which allows him to take his man off the dribble. He has scored double figures in fourteen of the fifteen games he has played in so far this season.
