Roman Wilson 6’9″ Park Hill (KC Pacers Blue): Wilson is a talented big whose game continued to evolve over the course of the entire summer. During the spring, he showed the ability to impact the game in the paint with his scoring and shot blocking. As the summer progressed, he started to showcase his perimeter skills, which are excellent. He can put the ball on the floor and can spot up and shoot 3-pointers with consistency. He is a future high-major prospect with offers from Kansas State and Wichita State already in the bag.
Isiaih Mosley 6’4″ Rock Bridge (MoKan Elite): A skilled big-body combo forward who has the ability to play anywhere on the floor. He has a strong post game with his size and shooting touch around the basket. Mosley is also a nice player to have at the high post with his ability to pass and knock down 15 footers. He has made tremendous strides with his perimeter game, which makes him a real match-up problem against opposing bigs. He can handle the ball and get buckets off the bounce.
Dylan Caruso 6’8″ Mansfield (Springfield Hawks): A long and lanky post player with a very nice skill set. Caruso has a nice shooting touch around the basket and a fine array of post moves. He is also a very good passer out of a double team. He displayed a shooting range out to 15-17 feet. Caruso also displayed good poise when he had to encounter some very physical play that most players his size must endure. As he gets stronger, he will develop into quite a prospect.
Dominique Hardimon 6’2″ Poplar Bluff (SEMO Bulls): A tenacious competitor who plays much bigger than his actual size. He has a tremendous motor that enables him to simply outwork bigger opponents on a consistent basis. He is a beast on the boards and plays the top of his team’s full-court press. At the end of the summer, he was handling the ball more on the perimeter and causing matchup problems. He scored on many clear outs against bigger defenders.
Joshua Wallace 6’5″ CBC (St. Louis Eagles): A hard working post player who is a good athlete with a blue collar attitude. He saw many varsity minutes as a freshman where he excelled as a post defender and rebounder. During the summer, we saw his offensive game emerge as he did a nice job scoring around the basket with post moves and jump hooks. He ran the court and scored on the fast break and got buckets on the offensive glass.
Tyem Freeman 6’4″ Hillcrest (MoKan Elite): An athletic post player who became a bigger factor on the varsity level later in his freshman year. Very impressed with his ability to play around the rim. He finished many plays with big slam dunks. He is a strong rebounder who more than held his own inside against bigger post players.
Tre Morrison 6’8″ Parkview (Yanders Law): One of the top defensive post players in the Class of 2019. He length and athleticism enable him to be an excellent shot blocker. He had games in which he had double digit blocks while playing 16U with Yanders Law. His offensive game is still a work in progress, but he has a big upside.
Cyrus Alexander 6’4″ Whitfield (St. Louis Eagles): A strong active post player with a good body and a high motor. He plays with great activity, whether he’s attacking the offensive boards and running the court on the fast break. He made a living on the weak side during the summer gobbling up offensive boards. If he continues to develop his skill set, he will be hard to deal with as a matchup problem.
Tanner Zeil 6’6″ Park Hill (KC Pacers Blue): A very effective forward who can operate in the paint or in the high post area. He works hard on both ends to rebound and get post position and get buckets. He catches the ball well from the high post and can pass the ball or knock down 15 footers. A very solid performer who does not make a lot of mistakes.
Trent McBride 6’6″ Eminence: A big-bodied post player who led his team to a Class 1 district championship as a freshman. He gets good post position in the low blocks and has a nice lefty touch around the basket. He will also put it on the floor and get buckets. McBride will also step out and knock down 3-pointers off the catch. He should be one of the more formidable post players in Class 1 for the next three years.
