Marcedus Leech 6’5″ Poplar Bluff (St. Louis Eagles): The athletic wing played with the Eagles 16U and 17U teams during the grassroots season. One of the top shooting guards nationally in the Class of 2019, Leech is a creative scorer with slick handles and excellent 3-point shooting range. Leech has the ability to create his own shot at almost any time and knock down perimeter shots. He has already received a number of scholarship offers from high major Division I schools.
Mario McKinney 6’0″ Vashon (MoKan Elite): An athletic wing player with a high motor, McKinney played with MoKan’s Elite’s 16U team during the July evaluation period. He is a dynamic performer who excels in the open court with his ability to attack the rim and finish with athleticism. He can also knock down a nice pull up 15 footer on the move. McKinney is also an excellent offensive rebounder from the guard position. His boundless energy also rubs off on the rest of his teammates and raise their level of intensity.
Dajuan Harris 6’2″ Rock Bridge (MoKan Elite): A thin, but very athletic shooting guard with a smooth set of offensive skills. Harris is very good off the dribble where he can get to the rim or pull up from the mid-range area. Harris is also a capable shooting from 3-point range. He is also a strong finisher in the transition where he can rise up and throw down emphatic slam dunks. He is one of the leaders of a young and talented perimeter crew from Rock Bridge.
Ben Cooper 6’0″ Rock Bridge (MoKan Elite): Cooper is one of the top perimeter shooters in the Class of 2019. He is a dynamic 3-point shooter off the catch, which can really stretch an opposing defense to its limits. However, don’t mistake his marksmanship for being just a one-dimensional player. He displayed the ability to make plays off the dribble during the summer. If defenders closed out on him to aggressively, he was fully capable of getting to the basket and knocking down a shot off the dribble.
Donyae McCaskill 6’1″ Kickapoo (Yanders Law): One of the most athletic guards in the class, McCaskill is a slashing combo guard who can get to the rim and finish with authority. He will dunk on a unsuspecting big man at a moment’s notice. He has good skill level and a high basketball IQ. He is starting to improve as a perimeter shooter, which would make him a formidable offensive player.
Jamonta Black 6’3″ Rock Bridge (Missouri Hustle): The talented wing player played with the Missouri Hustle 16U during the summer. He is long, athletic and smooth on the offensive end. He can stretch defenses with his ability to catch and shoot 3-pointers, but he can also beat opposing defenders off the dribble. He has a nice pull up jumper on the move.
E.J. Bellinger 6’3″ Fort Zumwalt South (Gateway): The talented wing player can be characterized as ‘Instant Offense.” He is a threat to score when he touches the ball because he is always in scoring mode. He is a good 3-point shooter with good range and a quick release. The ball comes out of his hands quick, fast and in a hurry. He displayed such shooting exploits during the high school season, but he displayed the ability to score off the bounce more during the summer.
Broc Smith 6’3″ Republic (Springfield Hawks): An impressive wing prospect with good size and shooting ability. Not only is Smith an excellent 3-point shooter off the catch, but he can also shoot the ball in a transition game where he can run to the open spot and let it fly from long distance. He wore out zone defenses all summer. He can also put it on the floor and knock down a one-dribble 15 footer.
Keyshawn Jackson 6’2″ Kickapoo (MBA Flight): A talented offensive player who can make it happen at all three levels. He missed much of the high school season with an injury, but made up for it during the summer. He can get to the basket and get to rim or score on floaters from different angles. His big improvement has come from long distance where he hit a number of high arching 3-pointers from over the right shoulder.
Atavian Butler 6’2″ McCluer North (St. Louis Eagles): An athletic wing player who plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. He is at his best when he is slashing to the basket and finishing at the rim. Butler is arguably the top rebounding guard in the Class of 2019. He attacks the boards with ferocity on both ends.
Ray Adams 6’2″ Webster Groves (Jets-Ramey United): Adams is one of the top knock down 3-point shooters in the 2019 class. An ideal player to have on a team with a strong low-post threat or a penetrating point guard, Adams makes defenses pay for trying to protect the paint. He has a smooth stroke and quick release.
