Fort Bend Bush jumped out early with a big lead over Alief Taylor and had the entire gym rocking forcing the Lions to call back-to-back timeouts in a hostile environment. To cap off the end of the first quarter it was an alley-oop connection from DJ Stewart to Danny McAdory. In the second quarter, the Lions begin to put pressure on the Broncos as they put their bench players in to early and the pendulum began to change direction. The game went from a 14 point lead to a 7 point game by the half. In the second half of the game, the Broncos was able to fend off the Lions in both quarters and hold on to win the ball game. The Broncos even put on a dunking display to end the last three possessions of the game.

Blessing Adespie 6’5 F / Alief Taylor / 2020
Blessing is a physical specimen that has really good court speed and is uber bouncy. His handles have tremendously improved as well as his overall game. He can know knock down outside jumpers and take his opponent to the rim from the perimeter. He currently holds one JuCo offer on the table and will pick up more as the season progresses he definitely is one of the most improved seniors in the state of Texas. Finished with 27 points and snatched down 9 rebounds.
Phillip Moore 6’4 WG / Alief Taylor / 2020
Phillip is a big guard that will see some time at the small forward spot on the next level because of his size and wingspan. He knocked down multiple trey balls in the game. Has the ability to stretch the floor out because of his threat from deep range and I’m not talking about right on top of the three-point line either. He is a volume scorer who should put up big numbers this season. He currently has two NAIA offers on the table. Finished the game with 14 points as he shot 3/6 from behind the arc.
DJ Stewart 5’11 PG / Fort Bend Bush / 2020 PHTX150
DJ is one of the most crafty guards to touch the hardwood this season. He is very deceptive with the rock in his hand. He is a ferocious on-ball defender that has great lateral movement and quick hands. He has a super high IQ on both sides of the ball. He plays the passing lanes very well. High motor prospect who is always on the floor after loose balls. Makes some of the most difficult passes seem elementary. DJ currently holds an NAIA and a D3 offer on the table, He could potentially land a D2 offer as well as he has the skill set to play at that level as a lead guard who loves to facilitate the ball. Finished with 17 points, came away with 9 steals, dished out 6 assists, and grabbed 4 rebounds as he shot 3/6 from the charity stripe.
Danny McAdory 6’5 SF / Fort Bend Bush / 2020 PHTX150
Danny is a high flying forward that plays in slow motion on the court at times and the next thing you know he takes off like a ball shot out of a canon. He is uber-bouncy and can finish with both hands above the rim. Jumps off the right and left foot as well as two feet jump dunks. He is a lob specialist. His mid-range game still needs some fine-tuning, but he will grab several boards and cause a lot of altered shots with his springboard jumping abilities. He currently does hold any offers and could be utilized in the four spot when going small at the next level. Finished the game with 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and shot 3/5 from the foul line.
Jackson Morris 6’0 G / Fort Bend Bush / 2020
Jackson was the x-factor for the Broncos in this game. He shot the ball well, played scrappy on-ball defense, and got in the mix of things getting after 50/50 balls. He set some solid screens and was very talkative on the court. He got out in transition and ran the court well to be rewarded with two easy lay-ins. He doesn’t hold any offers at this time. He finished with 10 points in the game and went 2/5 from deep.
