Silas Demary Jr Silas Demary Jr 6'4" | CG Combine Academy | 2023 State #114 Nation NC . had himself quite a busy senior campaign in the Combine Academy backcourt as he moves into the 3rd spot in the overall rankings. He produced 13.9 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.7 apg and 1.8 spg as one of the top combo guards in the state to know this season. He’s become quite the efficient scoring guard in 2022-23, shooting 55 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point land as he closes out his career this weekend at the HoopState Championship. He’ll be one to keep eyes on with the USC Trojans in the Pac-12.

Demary was the top performer of the day with a 28 point performance on 8/14 shooting from the field and a perfect 10/10 from the free throw line. Demary plays with great pace and uses the threat of the pull-up jumper to allow him to get into the lane at will. Once he beats the first defender Demary is able to finish off two feet with the floater or make the right pass. I’m a big fan of Demary after watching him over the summer and he once again showed why his stock is rising, in 247’s most recent update he cracked the top 60.

Came up big time for his team down the stretch of their matchup with WOG, coming up with some timely buckets and clutch plays on the defensive end. Certain players want the ball in their hands in big time moments and he’s definitely one of those players as well as a player that gives full effort on both ends of the court.
