DJ Steward (Whitney Young)
Steward has possibly the best mid-range game in the state. Silky smooth ball handler that loves to stop and pop on a dime pulling up for jumpers.
Isaiah Rivera (Geneseo)
High level mid-range scorer that is such a tough cover in one on one situations because of his ability to create space and hit difficult shots.
Tyler Beard (Whitney Young)
Beard is a powerful guard so opponents have to respect that which opens up his shot from 15 feet where he gets great elevation off the floor.
Jeremiah Williams (Simeon)
Williams is primed for a huge season. The small forward has an ultra-slick handle that allows him to get in the mid-range to make plays.
Ray’Sean Taylor (Collinsville)
Crisp ball handler that loves to pull up over defenders in the 15-18 foot range with his lethal jumper.
Will Wolfe (Oswego East)
One of the best at this area of the floor. Wolfe is so efficient with what he does shooting the basketball from mid-range.
Caleb Zurliene (Breese Mater Dei)
Good sized two guard that loves to elevate over defenders with his pull up game.
Donovan Newby (Bloom)
Newby is a solid shooter from three, but is at his best coming off a ball screen and drilling a mid-range shot.
Luke Scheffers (St. Charles North)
Slick ball handler that is excellent shooting in the paint as he always seems to be balanced when drilling shots.
Dominic Martinelli (Glenbrook South)
One of the craftiest players in the class. He has a shifty handle and excels making plays in the lane.
Tommy Ferriter (Lockport)
Shined with Windy City Magic with his mid-range game during the summer on the PrepHoops Circuit.
Atharva Athreya (Sandburg)
Long and rangy two guard that has projectability and a silky smooth 15-18 foot pull up game.
Nick Smoldt (Plainfield East)
Smoldt is really good in that mid-range area with his ability to rise over defenders.
Ryan Sroka (Huntley)
Crisp ball handler that understands how to get his shot off from his spots on the floor.
