Braydin Myers and Jerod May were really consistent and led this team from the backcourt. Before losing Nick Johnson, he gave them a little size to pair with Yuri Swinford. Swinford seemed to thrive at times on this team. He’s a guy that many don’t know, yet.
Best Player: Jerod May is a guy that I have liked for a while now because of his mentality and ability to score the ball from anywhere on the floor. He’s a little stockier and not the quickest player on the floor but he knows how to play the game and can produce for a team. His jump shot is still a little bit of a work-in-progress but inside of the three-point line he can do quite a bit.
Players To Watch: As I mentioned before, Yuri Swinford is going to be a player that people need to pay attention to. He’s 6’5 and long but also pretty skilled already. He’s got a very good jumper and can hit it with some consistency. He’s long and lanky while being athletic and more than capable of being a legit wing at the next level. He doesn’t have to get a ton more size for him to be recruitable. He showed a ton of promise this summer and it made him very intriguing.
