Sam Richardson 6’5″ Hancock: The versatile wing was one of the top all-around players at the Expo. He showcased his athleticism with several nice alley-oop dunks during the day. He attacks the basket well and he has a nice two dribble pull up jumper from the mid-range area. He loves to rebound at both ends and he is quite capable of taking the ball and leading the break without the outlet pass.
Jonathan Thompson 6’4″ Park Hill South: The talented wing from KC was quietly one of the top bucket-getters during the day. He was cash money in the mid-range area as he consistently got to his spot 15 to 17 feet from the basket and knocked down jumper after jumper. His game was under control without any wasted motion because he always knew where he wanted to go and he was never rushed. He is also a solid facilitator with good size on the perimeter.
Chris Hill 6’2″ Brentwood: A muscular shooting guard who is one of the top scorers in the St. Louis metro area. He displayed his scoring chops throughout the day as he used his physical strength to bully his way to the basket for easy scores. He takes the contact and finishes well around the basket. He also did a good job of hitting his open 3-pointers. He could score without forcing the issue too much.
Jacques Thomas 6’4″ Rockwood Summit: An explosive wing player who brought the athleticism with his slashing drives and thunderous dunks throughout the day. He has tremendous leaping ability and improved handles, which were on display as he attacked the basket and finished very effectively. His entire game is still developing, so this can be a intriguing prospect with his athletic ability and upside.
Kaidyn Johnson 6’2″ Jefferson City: An unselfish player with excellent length and the willingness to defend some of the top players in the camp. He was very effective on the defensive end as he blocked shots and used his length to get steals and deflections. He was also a willing passer who could make an open jumper.
Jase Bergschneider 6’0″ Taylorville, IL: A solid guard from Central Illinois who was fearless and very effective when attacking the basket on the drive. He had several nice takes where he used his handles to weave his way through traffic and score with both hands around the bucket.
Caleb Irons 6’1″ St. Charles: A rock solid lefty who was a capable player at both ends of the floor. He was a dependable shooter from 3-point range, especially off the catch. He didn’t try to force things too much, but he was able to make plays without making mistakes with the ball.
