Dean spent a couple weekends playing with the Dakota Niners but also spent several sessions in the gym on his own working to improve. Of course he was in the gym getting up jumpers as he’s one of the state’s better shooters but he’s also working to become more versatile.
“A few of the things I tried to work on this summer is my ability to get to the hole, this way I could be more unpredictable,” said Dean. “I also want to improve my shooting so I can be a more consistent scorer.”
With Brevin Kaiser and Erin Severyn graduated there is more pressure on Dean as well as senior Zach Rabern and junior Peyton Zabel to lead the squad.
“I think getting in the gym as much as we can should help us to be ready by the start of the season,” said Dean.
“I’m just excited for my senior year of hoops with the guys who I have been playing with since 3rd grade.”
Dean also has to start thinking about college and playing at the next level as well as schools will want his shooting stroke on their roster.
“Right now, Concordia and Mount Marty have shown the most interest,” Bradley said. “I plan to visit Mount Marty here sometime in the near future.”
