Carson is taking things step by step. The current step is competing with the North Dakota Attack and bettering his game for his final year of high school basketball.
“I plan on continuing playing with the North Dakota Attack and working to better my game by hitting the weights and the gym this summer,” Carson told PHD. “And by also playing good competition throughout the AAU season!
“I am trying to improve everything but I am trying to work to the make scoring easier for me through other things as improving my jump shot and all shooting as a whole and finishing at the rim.”
North Dakota Attack Green is 10-7 on the season with several chances to improve coming up in the summer months. Carson has enjoyed playing with the Attack
“My highlight so far is getting to play with a good group of guys and seeing us grow as a group. Also being able to play against good competition that is helping me get better is another thing that I enjoy about playing with the Attack.”
The start of the high school season is a half a year away but Carson is thinking about another 20 plus win season. The last two years HCV is 46-5.
“I think we return a lot of the talent that we had last year,” Carson explained. “I feel like we have a lot of potential next season, and I am really excited for it to start. It should be a fun year.”
Carson has other things to concern himself for next year: selecting a school for college athletics as well as playing defensive back and wideout for the HCV football team. Recruiting visits will be mixed in.
“I am hearing from the University of Mary – they are the only visit I’ve taken – Minot State, Mayville State, Bemidji State, Lake Region, Valley City, and Jamestown.”
