We wanted to give college coaches a guide to the players that will be participating in the event. Last is our dive into the post prospects at the event!
The top two big men in the state will be in the house. Seryee Lewis (Morgan Park) is the headliner as the top 5 overall prospect is an athletic four man who plays above the rim. The best center in the state Martice Mitchell (Bloom) stretches the floor with his shooting and is a big time shot blocker. Speaking of floor stretchers that is what you will get out of face up four men Ryan Isaacson (Hinsdale Central) and Bennett Kwiecinski (Loyola). Two supreme upside posts with their best basketball ahead of them are Kee Hargrow (Hyde Park) and Armond Williams (East St. Louis).
It is a strong group of players at the power forward and center positions in the 2021 class. Headlined by Schaumburg center Chris Hodges who is the #4 overall player in his class. Other posts who are garnering D1 looks include Scottie Ebube (Mundelein), Ola Ajiboye (Von Steuben), Brian Mathews (DePaul Prep), and Luke Moustakas (Brother Rice).
