Gary Clark 6’7″ Team Ramey CCM: The talented combo forward has continued to improve and emerge as another player to watch in the talented Class of 2020 group in St. Louis. He was one of my major stock-risers during the season and he continued that excellent play in the tournament. He has a strong inside game with both hands around the basket and he has added a nice jumper from 15 to 17 feet to go along with it. He has good length and he also rebounds very well. He has grown nearly six inches in high schools and his game as grown as well. Attends Cardinal Ritter.
Lamontay Daugherty 6’7″ Team Ramey CCM: A very talented combo forward from Mehlville who can dominate a game when he has things clicking. He runs the court hard and finished with a bunch of emphatic slam dunks during the weekend. He is very skilled player who causes matchup problems with his ability to score in the post or step outside for perimeter jumpers and dribble drives. He has interest from a number of Division I programs.
Brandon Ellington 6’6″ Team Ramey CCM: The talented lefty was one of the top rebounders in the tournament. He attacks the glass with great intensity as he thinks every rebound belongs to him. I love his activity around the basket. He is also one of the best dunkers I’ve seen as he attacks the rim hard and not only in the transition game. He has a nice drop-step move where he will dunk over the top of a defender. Attends Cardinal Ritter
Frazier Ott 6’8″ Arsenal Hoops: A very solid post player who did a nice job of scoring around the basket throughout the weekend. His fundamentals and footwork were very good. He had one play where he caught the ball on the baseline, crab-dribbled his man into the post and scored on a nice jump hook on the baseline over his left shoulder. He catches the ball well and keeps the ball high when finishing. Attends Chaminade.
Isaiah Esker 6’9″ Arsenal Hoops: One of the most improved players in St. Louis during the season, Isaiah went from a bit player as a sophomore to averaging a near-double double at Parkway South as a junior. He has a big body and he knows how to use it. He is tough to move when he gets position around the basket and he can score on a nice drop step move. He is more physical and more confident about his game that he was a year ago.
Elijah Bishop 6’6″ Team Ramey CCM: Another big-bodied post player who knows how to operate inside and get things done. He has been a starter at Soldan since his freshman year. He is a difficult to cover inside because he of his physical strength and his variety of moves in the post. He has good drop steps, a jump hook and a nice turnaround jumper. He has developed a nice 3-point stroke, which he likes to shoot.
